Indoor Sales Account Manager
Bright A Blind is a leading supplier of blinds, blind cleaning and blind maintenance to the UK’s biggest businesses and institutions. Operating throughout the UK they work directly for facilities managers, as well as being trusted sub-contractors to cleaning and maintenance contractors. They also work for clients in the construction sector, on major refurbishment and new build projects, taking responsibility for all aspects of blind management. The company has a reputation for its operational capability to do difficult and complex tasks on time, on budget and without any fuss, hence the logo. Bright A Blind is currently expanding both in London and in other parts of the country and 2018 has created an opportunity to expand its relationships and business within the construction sector.

ROLE DESCRIPTION: The role is to build on and extend the company’s contacts in the construction & facility sectors in order to expand in this area and capture a share of the 2018 blind business. This will involve traditional account management activities. It is fundamentally a business development and relationship oriented role so it will involve: identifying where opportunities may arise; building relationships with the key people; and then making the sale. There will be a lot of help and support in doing this but the person in this role will be the principal point of contact with the customer, potentially at a high level.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: The ideal candidate will be from a b2b indoor telesales industry and have a strong construction sector background. They will also need the personal skills to build strong relationships and sell the Bright A Blind service and the commercial nous to make sure that deals are done on the best terms possible. This is a demanding business development role and so it is likely that the right candidate will have spent many years in the sector and already be well known amongst at least some of the target customer group. We are looking for someone with energy, commercial common sense, and entrepreneurial flair who can make things happen.
