Venetian Blinds All types of venetian blinds can be automated for either only tilting slats or raising and lowering the venetian blind. The tilt only system is suitable for 16mm and 25mm blinds. Powered by a battery pack that is mounted in a position close to the blinds. The raising and lowering system uses a 24v DC motor, which sits inside the headrail. Once this is in place the control options can vary from a simple switch to a fully automated control system. Wooden Venetian Blinds Wooden venetians need a larger 240v AC motor, which can raise, lower and tilt. Roller Blinds A 24v DC motor can power roller blinds Vertical Blinds Vertical blinds have a motor, which is usually attached to the back of the headrail.
